Microgaming ready to expand its presence of the Swedish market
The leading gaming software developer Microgaming is set to continue its European expansion.
The Isle of Man-based company has announced a new tie-up with Swedish state-owned gambling operator Svenska Spel Sport and Casino.
Highly-Acclaimed Portfolio to Enhance Swedish Presence
After integrating Microgaming content aggregation platform, Svenska Spel will be able to provide players with a wide variety of Microgaming’s iGaming content.
Among those are hit branded slots such as recently released Game of Thrones and Lara Croft: Temples and Tombs.
There are also games like Immortal Romance, Agent Jane Blonde Returns, and Book of Oz.
Jonas Nygren, VP of casino of Svenska Spel Sport and Casino, said the company is delighted to collaborate with Microgaming.
“Microgaming is renowned for its portfolio of high quality, innovative content. The addition of Microgaming’s catalogue of entertaining games will enhance the overall gameplay experience for our players.”
A Significant Market
Microgaming’s content has been live on the Swedish market since its re-regulation came into effect on January 1, 2019. The supplier considers the region as “one of Europe’s largest regulated markets for online gaming.”
Andrew Clucas, chief operating officer at Microgaming, also spoke highly about the newest deal.
“Svenska Spel Sport and Casino is a tremendous addition to our sizeable customer base in this key strategic market. We are pleased to welcome them to the Microgaming family and look forward to working with them closely after a successful integration”, he said.
Microgaming has also recently went live in Portugal, with country’s Estoril Sol Digital’s ESC Online.
Besides announcing important partnerships, the supplier is also busy arranging its newest titles for their scheduled February release. A new slot called Seven 7’s, created by Crazy Tooth Studios exclusively for Microgaming, will be joining its ever-expanding portfolio.
The game, which is based around the hidden treasures of the seven seas, will become available on February 18.
