The newly reported data has revealed that Presque Isle Downs Casino which is located in Erie, Pennsylvania is recorded as one of lowest profit percentages within the state of Pennsylvania when it comes to their slot machine revenue.
Their Gaming Control Board has stated that the Presque Isle Downs and Casino ranks at number eleven out of the twelve casinos that are located in the state of Pennsylvania when it comes down to slot machine payouts within the month of February 2016.
Presque Isle Downs Casino reported that they had a profit percentage of 89.41%, this profit margin is well below the states average.
This margin is compared to the Parx Casino that is located in Bensalem Pennsylvania which leads in the state at a reported percentage of 90.74%.
When you look at the slot machine profit margin percentages that have been reported over the course of this fiscal year, the Presque Isle Downs Casino is in the ninth position out of the twelve casinos that are located in Pennsylvania reporting a profit margin of 89.45%.
The slot machine returns that were reported for the state of Pennsylvania were up nine percent in the month of February of 2016.
The Gaming Control Board in Pennsylvania posted recently on its website that the monthly reported gross total profits as well as tax income that was generated from the playing of slot machines at the casinos during the month of February.
According to this report that was posted, the gross income from slot machine playing at the twelve casinos located in Pennsylvania was up 9.26% in the month of February of 2016 to $200,166,274 which was compared to the $183,203,043 which was the gross income that was reported in February of 2015.
Slot machine income, even if there was not an additional day in February of this year, would have had an increase of 6.33% when it was compared to the same number of days in February of 2015.
