There’s some downsides to living at a farm, we won’t admit, but it’s a rather rewarding way of life. You work hard all day at the field, but every day, you see the result of your hard work having grown a little bit bigger, and you get to go to bed exhausted but satisfied. It seems Push Gaming wanted to capture that feeling in their 2018 release, called Fat Rabbit. It features simple, clean graphics while show off many symbols that depict farm-life, a rather up-beat soundtrack during feature activation, and some fun gameplay that paces nicely between features and normal spins. The RTP for the game is 96.45%.
The game is played on huge 5x5 playing fields with 50 fixed paylines. Gamblers are treated through a randomly activated feature that adds Wilds, as well as a free spins bonus that has a rabbit jumping around and eating Wild carrots, growing bigger and netting you big wins in the process.
Play Fat Rabbit
At any given point, the Harvest Feature can activate randomly. A tractor will drive over the reels, ploughing through them and leaving behind Wild Carrots, allowing you to fill in some blanks and potentially get a winning combination, though there’s no guarantee of that.
When a Rabbit lands somewhere on the playing field with one or more Wild Carrots, the free spins bonus begins. The rabbit also acts as a Wild, and moves to the location of the carrot to eat it. If no carrots appear, he simply stays where he was until a new one appears. Once the rabbit eats enough carrots, he will reward players with additional free spins, while the rabbit symbol grows in size. This happens each time the rabbit eats a certain number of carrots, with the amount of Wilds needed to be eaten increasing on each level to make it more difficult as you progress further.
How to Play
We were quite pleased with the novelty displayed by the developers at Push Gaming. The rabbit’s growing size is a great boon, but he’s not a particularly reliable Wild as he keeps darting around the playing field, meaning he will be extremely useful in some positions, and rather wasted in others. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to get the Harvest Feature to trigger during free spins, as it would without doubt give the rabbit plenty of snacks, and help get him to the next level.
You can wager between $0.25 up to $100 per spin, which is an awesome deal considering we’re dealing with a 50 reel video slot – we have to give Push Gaming credit there. The largest jackpot you can win is worth 200,000 coins.
The Autoplay feature is available to players, allowing them to set the amount of auto spins the gambler will go through, as well as a loss and win limits, which will pause the Autoplay if the value exceeds what you’ve set up.
Strategy & Tips
The only real strategy we have to offer you is to budget accordingly so you can wait out for the rabbit. There’s really no reliable way to force a win outside of free spins, so you’ll want to make sure you have enough cash in your pockets to last you all the way.
There’s no significant differences between the mobile and desktop versions.
