Microgaming Continues with Management Reshuffle

Microgaming heads forward with a new senior management structure

Just last month, one of the biggest online operators in the world, Microgaming, appointed a new CEO John Coleman, to manage the company and now, two new appointments were announced.

Microgaming has appointed Andrew Clucas as a chief operating officer (COO) and Jean-Luc Ferriere as a chief commercial officer (CCO).

New COO

Clucas has served as director of Quickfire from September 2016 and has overseen large growth within the company during this period.

Since its release in 2010, the platform has seen the biggest double-digit growth in the last two years with Clucas on the lead. Now, he’ll take on the new role and use all his expertise as Microgaming’s COO. He is delighted to take on this new position in the executive team at this exciting and important time for Microgaming.

“Andrew has played a central role in our operational success since joining us in 2009, achieving consistently outstanding results in charge of sales, regulated markets, business development and other key areas of the business, including Quickfire,” said Coleman who has been promoted from CFO to CEO position at the end of June.

Coleman took on the CEO role after Roger Raatgever stepped aside following 17 years at the helm.  Raatgever was appointed as the executive chairman of Apricot Investments, the new name for Microgaming Software Systems.

New CCO

Jean-Luc Ferriere will be installed as the chief commercial officer of Microgaming.

He has been promoted from his previous position as a director of Network Games and therefore played a leading role in the development, promotion and strategic direction of the company’s poker and bingo products.

Ferriere feels privileged to have worked for the company for almost 20 years, guiding a number of departments along the way.

His commercial expertise has seen countless successful deliveries of the various services the operator offe3rs internationally and he believes he would guide the company’s teams at the highest level.

Microgaming is one of the most respected online casino software providers in the world with thousands of real money slots and live dealer games which has been going strong into the summer.

Also, it was less than a month ago, that the company announced the launch of Stormcraft Studios, a new independent game studio that will supply exclusive content to Microgaming and its network of operators.
