True Classic Made Christmassy

Big Bad Wolf was one of the first games Quickspin’s ever released, all the way back in 2013. And it’s still going strong to this day. So, when they started brainstorming ideas for our winter-themed releases this year, it seemed like the perfect game to revamp with a holiday touch. Proven and popular game mechanics in a winter wonderland – what’s not to like?

This is what Sara Gollbo, Graphic Designer, spoke about the process of working on this game.

“It was a lot of fun working on a game, as it’s not what I normally do in my Graphic Design job here, and it gave me an opportunity to think and work in a different way.

The most challenging part of this job was working out all the animations, as these were previously made using a process that’s no longer in use, with the original game being created in 2013. 

The part that was most fun for me was figuring out how to make the various parts of the game ‘Christmassy’, while still keeping everything consistent. And it was really fun to work on the three little pigs, trying to convey their different personalities!”
