If you are thinking about taking a trip to Las Vegas and you are a fan of the show Orange is the New Black, you are in for a treat.  Las Vegas casinos unveiled slot machines that feature Piper and the rest of the crew from the hit show Orange is the New Black on Tuesday.

The International Game Technology and Lionsgate announced their plans for two casino versions of slot machines that were inspired by the Netflix show Orange is the New Black series during the 2045 Global Gaming Expo.  Each one of these slot machine games offers the potential of multi-level awards for the spinning wagers that are displayed on the 55” top screen, while the players enjoy music, characters, clips, as well as the sound bites from the popular prison-set series.  These Orange is the New Black slot machines are expected to be on the gaming floors in 2016.

Taylor Schilling the lead actress who plays the character Piper Kerman is the featured character in the new slots.  As players reach the bonus rounds they will encounter the other prison inmates such as the Wild feature – Crazy Eyes, Symbols feature – Alex More, and the Double Game feature – Mendoza.  Although the big prize is the Piper All feature, which indeed combines all of the characters in the bonus round for the big player payout.  Although they have announced the plans for these new slot machines in 2016, they have not stated which casinos will be the lucky ones to have them on their floors.

This move marks the studio’s newest venture into the gaming space after they invested in the game publisher and game developer Telltale Games in order to help Lionsgate IP such as Divergent and The Hunger Games into social platform as well as mobile games.  These new Orange is the New Black Slots will also be available to play on desktop websites as well as social media gaming sites for mobile versions such as DoubleDown Casino.
