New games are on their way!
Gamesys is looking like they are all set to use certain technology that was developed by International Game Technology within their own slot machines.
Las Vegas based IGT (International Game Technology) has announced that they made a deal with UK software firm Gamesys which will ultimately allow this company the right to use some of International Game Technology’s slot game patent library.
This new deal that was made between the two companies will allow Gamesys to use certain technology from International Game Technology slot machines in their portfolio of games. This will allow them to develop more innovative as well as more entertaining slot machine games.
International Game Technology Global Chief Product Officer of Gaming Victor Duarte stated “Working in partnership with Gamesys in order to enhance its own online games gives them leverage for their R&D investment to deliver better games to even more players” as he was speaking about the new agreement that was made between them and Gamesys.
The head of Games within Gamesys Studios Hans Elias stated that the agreement with International Game Technology will allow Gamesys to utilize compelling and well established game mechanics in key jurisdictions where such IPs are protected by patents. This agreement will further the partnership with IGT that will ensure the we can benefit from their investment in R&D in order to develop more unique as well as compelling content for their partners as well as their players.
With this agreement being settled Gamesys is expected to start the use of International Game Technology gaming technology in the year of 2016. Gamesys is planning on incorporating this technology into several of their new games. This might mean more advanced slots for the upcoming years, and this could potentially bring in new clients that wish to play some of the more involved slots than the general, traditional ones many are used too.
