Highly-anticipated Halloween slot is finally here
Great news for horror fans!
Microgaming has just released the brand-new Halloween video slot game a day ago as Michael Myers is coming to create havoc on your computer screen.
Halloween Slot License
Back in July we wrote about Microgaming teaming up with Compass International Pictures and Creative Licensing Corporation to treat Halloween fans in the best possible way through obtaining a license of this respected brand, to honor not only the character of this slasher movie but the whole franchise and elements that made it such a massive success.
One of the most terrifying movies ever featuring Jamie Lee Curtis fighting a madman on his kill spree, was released in 1978 and made more than $70 million box office. It was immeasurably influential on the slasher genre and thus it’s no wonder Microgaming decided to turn it into a branded slot game.
The Halloween Slot
Halloween is a 5 reel, 50 payline slot and can be played from 50c to $200 a spin across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Like the main character Michael Myers, widely known as the Boogeyman, the slot design is dark and spooky. The Boogyman is constantly lurking the reel set representing his derelict house. Jumbo Blocks, the large symbols, are characters from the movie Lynda, Annie, Loomis and Laurie while matches, knitting needles, knives, telephones, guns are basic symbols on the reels.
Laurie is the most lucrative one giving you 30 times your stake for 5 across a payline while Halloween logo is the wild symbol replacing all symbols except the Bonus scatter.
The special features that will put a smile on your faces are definitely Wandering Reels, Trick or Treat Wheel Bonus and the Boogeyman Bonus.
Wandering Reels Feature includes the Jumbo Blocks Feature representing a group of three reels spinning together containing only Jumbo Blocks. The Wandering Reel will stop in 1 of 3 positions and determine the reels and paylines played.
If you land three bonus symbols in the base game, you will trigger the Trick and Treat Wheel Bonus which gives you the opportunity to multiply your stake up to ten times until you trigger The Boogeyman Bonus that takes place inside the Michael’s house.
A player must escape Michael while picking up leaves that reveal cash prizes with a multiplier that bring you closer to escaping the house. If you manage to find all 10 cash prizes, you win an additional prize of 20 times your stake.
Those really lucky and cunning players that manage to find Michael, will be rewarded half the prize amount. If you land on Lynda, Loomis, Annie or Laurie in the Trick or Treat Wheel feature you will trigger Free Spins feature and be awarded with nine free spins during which the triggering character will replace all other high symbols, including Jumbo Blocks and increase your chance to win big.
We hope you will enjoy immensely this branded title with its spooky graphics and iconic sound bites from the movie but also benefit from free spins, stake multipliers, wandering reels and jumbo blocks.
